Athletic Club to Host Open Training at San Mamés on December 30th

In a brilliant gesture to their loyal supporters, Athletic Club will throw open the doors of San Mamés for a special open training session on December 30th.

The connection between Athletic and their supporters has always been one of the club’s defining characteristics. It’s proper bread and butter stuff for a club with such deep community roots. However, in recent years, it’s become increasingly difficult for young fans to get up close and personal with their heroes.

This special session offers a rare opportunity for supporters - especially the youngsters - to see their idols in the flesh as the team prepares for their first match of 2026 against Osasuna at El Sadar.

How to Attend

While the training is free to attend, fans will need to secure tickets beforehand through the club’s official website. The process is straightforward:

• Fans must use their digital account (socio, gazte abono, club Athletic or athleticzale membership)
• Each account can claim up to four numbered invitations
• The club will open tribune sections gradually based on demand
