Levante have moved swiftly in the January transfer market, securing their third winter signing as promising Israeli attacker Tay Abed joins from PSV Eindhoven in a historic move for the Valencia-based club.
Deal Details
The young forward has put pen to paper on a long-term contract that runs until June 2029, with Levante paying a modest fee to the Dutch giants for his services. The 55-shirted talent has already visited the club’s training facilities in Buñol, meeting his new teammates and getting stuck into training under manager Luís Castro’s watchful eye.

Breaking New Ground
This transfer marks a significant milestone for the club from the Orriols district, as Abed becomes the first Israeli player ever to wear the famous granota (frog) shirt in Levante’s history.
While technically registered with the reserve team until the end of the current campaign, the Tel Aviv-born talent will immediately be available for first-team action.
Impressive Credentials
The left-winger arrives with some proper impressive numbers under his belt:
- 20 appearances in the Dutch second tier (Keuken Kampioen Divisie) this season
- 7 goals and 4 assists for PSV’s reserve side
- First-team debut for PSV in a cup match against GVVV Veenendaal, playing 69 minutes
