What he’s doing now isn’t enough to become a first-team player.”
Rather than a public dressing down, this appears to be calculated motivation from a coach who knows the player’s potential from their time together at Castilla.
With Madrid’s defensive options stretched thin, this Villarreal trip could provide the perfect opportunity for Martínez to finally make his competitive debut.
