Ziganda summed up his team’s peculiar situation perfectly: the home numbers should be the away ones, and vice versa. It’s a right head-scratcher for the gaffer as he prepares his troops for Monday’s trip to Ceuta - the very team that nicked all three points at Reino de León earlier this season.

Despite this topsy-turvy form, Ziganda’s keeping his chin up. “I prefer to see the bottle half full,” he told the press, pointing to those impressive away numbers. If Cultural’s home form matched their road results, they’d be up there with last season’s high-flyers Tenerife and Ferrol.
Instead, they’re focused on the bread and butter - securing survival in Segunda División.
Full Week of Training
