Getafe’s winter reinforcements are finally all available for selection as the club completes the registration of their quartet of January signings.
Boselli gets the green light
Good news for José Bordalás and the Azulones faithful as Getafe confirmed Uruguayan central defender Sebastián Boselli has been officially registered with La Liga. The former River Plate man becomes the final piece of Getafe’s January puzzle to fall into place, making him eligible for tonight’s clash against high-flying Girona.
Boselli joins a growing list of fresh faces at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, with the club having already sorted the paperwork for:
- Zaid Romero (defender)
- Luis Vázquez (forward)
- Martín Satriano (forward) - who already made his debut in last week’s match against Valencia
One out, one in?
While Bordalás will be chuffed to have his new recruits available, there’s one name missing from tonight’s squad. Cameroonian midfielder Yvan Neyou is sidelined after picking up a knock in training last week.
Interestingly, Neyou’s situation is being closely monitored by Levante, with the player potentially on the move before the transfer window slams shut on February 2nd. His departure would free up space in Getafe’s financial fair play allocation, potentially allowing Bordalás to bring in one more new face before deadline day.
