Madrid's 125th anniversary kit leak has fans absolutely buzzing

Real Madrid's rumoured all-white 'Total White' commemorative kit for their 125th anniversary in 2027 features a throwback to the club's first-ever badge.

A special all-white kit celebrating Real Madrid’s 125th anniversary has been leaked, fulfilling the long-held dream of Madridistas everywhere.

The dream in white

According to Footy Headlines, Real Madrid and Adidas have already designed a commemorative jersey for the club’s 125th birthday on March 6, 2027. The leaked images show what many supporters have been begging for year after year – a pristine, all-white kit with minimal detailing.

The design features:

  • Pure white base with no coloured accents
  • Grey Adidas stripes and logo
  • Grey Fly Emirates sponsor
  • The club’s original badge on the chest as a nod to their founding

What’s particularly interesting in the leaked mock-ups is that they feature current stars Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham alongside… Kylian Mbappé. Bit of wishful thinking there, innit?

Limited edition only

Before Madrid fans get too excited, this special ‘Total White’ kit won’t be the primary strip for the entire 2026/27 season. The commemorative jersey will likely only appear for select matches in March 2027 during the anniversary celebrations.

The regular home kit for that season is rumoured to feature white with green and pink details – quite different from this clean design that has supporters weak at the knees.

Historical precedent

This wouldn’t be the first time Los Blancos have gone for the minimalist approach. The last time Madrid donned a completely white kit was back in November 2016 against Sporting Gijón. That particular shirt was created in collaboration with Parley for the Oceans and was made from recycled materials from the Indian Ocean.

For the purists who’ve been on Adidas’s case about keeping it simple, this anniversary edition looks like it’ll be right up their street. If the leaks are accurate, Madrid fans might finally get the stripped-back, classic look they’ve been dreaming of – even if it’s just for a short while. Talk about a proper Bobby Dazzler!
