Whether it’s the cold air, something in his preparation, or just one of those patterns that footballers fall into, the geezer clearly loves a January-February run. With the weather in 2026 apparently being especially grim, maybe the harsher the winter, the sharper the striker.
What It Means for Matarazzo
For a manager still finding his feet at Real Sociedad, having a player this clinical available from the bench is a proper luxury. Óskarsson gives him a genuine game-changer option — someone who can come on, read the game quickly, and punish teams when they’re tired.
